Today with so many businesses looking to make a new website online and sell their products and services, more and more web hosting companies have arisen to cater to these website needs.

But with so many web hosting companies, who is the best for you? And how do you choose the best web hosting company for your website?

Many review websites today will just list the companies with a coupon code that they receive a commission or percentage of the sale, here we are just trying to help you find the best place to host your website with forehand knowledge of what will be needed of it in the future.

The main thing you need to remember is that even if you are a small company today selling 200 products a day online, what happens when orders rise to 900 a day, will your website have the capabilities of having multiple users and employees in the website at the same time processing the orders?

Or will it crash and create chaos for you? Stopping all orders from coming in and reducing your revenue.

This is just one example of how you must consider website hosting scalability in the future.

If you choose a web host company who cannot increase your web server capacity in time to take the increase of new orders, you will lose new customers and sales.

Top Three Website Hosting Companies

Below are the top three best web hosting companies with a good product, reliable service, and good customer support with fair pricing.

#3 Shopify

Do you need a simple website builder that makes it easy to create a website?

If so Shopify might be your solution. Many entrepreneurs who start a business don’t know anything about websites, so Shopify is a great jump start to get your business online with little growing pains.

The web hosting platform support’s e-commerce out of the box, and many other plush features like a wide variety of premium website templates and more.

But if you plan to expand later it can be expensive. Because of this it might no be the best solution for companies that will grow large very quickly.

#1 – Godaddy

A web hosting company who has been around since 1997 and was founed by Bob Parsons. They started the business selling only www and domain names, but have now grown into one of the largest web hosting companies in the world.

In my opinion, if you are a hand’s on type of person, Godaddy is the best web host. And the excellent customer service and support is top notch. If you are looking for a starter webhosting plan, or a premium web server they have you covered.

Godaddy supports all major platforms like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento and more. I recommend Godaddy to all my customers, especially if you are looking for a custom website, a serious web hosting company, or a corporate web server to handle lots of web traffic and data.

If you are starting small, and expanding fast, Godaddy is our recommended choice for you.

Cheaper Is Not Always Better

On a side note, some bad web hosting companies to avoid, from my experiences are Dreamhost and any web hosting company that has super cheap prices, or does not have call-in phone support.

If they only have chat support be careful. The chat support system tend to be frustrating, slow, and hard to describe problems, especially when in a rut. This is coming from first hand experience.

Dreamhost has no phone support, and will even charge you $4.95 for them to give you a return support call back.

If you complain they will refund it, at least they did for me.

Also be careful of companies like network solutions that give you a cheap domain name for the first year, but then later double, or triple the price on the second year. This is a common hang the cheese over the rat trick and pull up.
